So this is my first blog since coming home. Bibs came and left and now I'm all alone...boo... We had a good weekend taking in the downtown sights, lots of good meals (mmm....cafe crepes was yum!) and even some bowling! Lots of fun but too bad Jackie and Pat missed out. =( Crap, I miss Bibs already...now who's going to protect me from my mom?!??! With four hours of sleep to carry me through, I woke up at 5 this morning to the sound of chattering. Turns out Bibs had stayed up all night girl talking with my mom!! wow...I really admire her bravery! According to Bibs, they had a pretty good talk though...it baffles me why mother and daughter can't have the same thing. At the airport, I almost cried in front on her!! Bibs has become such a good friend to me. It saddens me that we won't be seeing each other everyday as we did in the past 8 months. After she went through the gate, I embarked on the longest bus ride home that I've ever experienced. It took TWO FRIGGIN' HOURS bussing from the airport to lawrence west, lawrence west to east, east to york mills stn then silverhills back home all the while wondering when it was ever going to end!! Finally I returned home at 9 to sleep the afternoon away =)
