Our first softball game of the season (and my first in almost 2 years) ended in a loss but nonetheless a very enjoyable one. Not that losing is something to be thrilled about but losing to a team as friendly as the FOTS made the outcome that much more easier to swallow. Even though it was pretty clear by the last couple of innings that they were owning the game, they kept on cheering us on, their opponents, as loud as ever and even put on a little funky chicken show to boost our morale. =P What a great way to show what the CCSA is all about. Funniest part of the game has got to be Gabe's throw from the ground between 2nd/3rd base to home which I missed and consequently almost hit the umpire in his unmentionables. Let me just make this clear that I did NOT miss catching that ball on purpose! =P Overall our team just need a little bit more practice and we'll be on our way in no time. Not to worry guys...it's still early in the season!! =)
