I'm going to the American Consulate!!! hahaha...I know I should get a grip because really it isn't that special. But it feels like I'm going to meet the President or something. =P It's pretty neat to think that I'll be standing on American soil while being hundreds of kilometers away from home. So why am I going to the American Consulate? To conduct an interview for work which is pretty much all I've been doing in the past couple of days. We go up to people's offices to conduct frigging long interviews with them. fun... Actually the getting dressed up part of it is! It kind of makes you feel like a real business person.
Tonight I'll finally get to see my cousin after waiting so long for her to finish her last exam! We have plans to get cheap eats and do some dirt cheap shopping tonight at Mong Kok, arguably the busiest part of HK. It'll be great. I love my cousin! =P
Ya...so not much has happened since my last entry. On Tuesday I met up with my "long lost" aunt. I haven't seen her in ages. We went to a really fancy Japanese restaurant for dinner and ordered all these weird but very delicious dishes. There was a Ramen salad where you pour sesame sauce on top (mmm...so good!), homemade tofu, shrimp tempura (my favourite!), grilled chicken cartiledge (YUM!) and grilled salmon with some yummy raddish topping. That was the best meal I've had in HK yet! My aunt's really cool too. In fact I'm beginning to realize just how cool all my aunts on the Lai side of the family are! A couple of weeks ago, my gu ma (dad's big sister) took me to the pub district of HK for late night drinks. o.O Needless to say, that was quite a shock. More fun with the aunts ahead. Next week I'm being invited out for seafood in Sai Kung with my little aunt and a few weeks down the road my big aunt and I will be hitting up Shanghai. How exciting! =)

Mmm.. it does sound like you're getting a lot of yummy food... i've heard a lot about grilled chicken cartilage, but never had a chance to taste any... yet =)
Wow, your big aunt sounds cool.. bringing you to a place to drink, lol. I mean, a "small aunt" who's near your age.. that I can see happening.. haha.
