[Picnic on the Island]
Today some of our high school crew got together for the much anticipated island bbq . Wish more people could have made it but it was still lots of fun with just Ce, Morna, Maggie and Ashley.
Highlights of the day:
* Getting harrassed by a swarm of wasps while picnicing on the beach
* Seeing an old couple walking their giant pet parrots
* Roasting hot dogs and marshmallows over a lighter
* Building an awesome sand castle (noboby would let me make a flag out of the chicken bone =( )

LOL, people always make fun of me for my crazy "build/design" ideas.. making a flag out of chicken bone would be SO COOL.. it's like the sign of a true engineer! Like doing stuff with the materials you have =P
I envy you sooo much.. it's been years since I went on any kind of picnic. Last time I roasted stuff must have been during the St.A days.. something I really miss.. that and building sand castles. And moats.. and rivers connecting the moats to the sea/lake/ocean... hehe.
In any case, it sounds like you had lots of fun =)
