[In My Dreams]

Does too much sleep cause a person to have strange dreams?? If so, I'm definitely a victim. Although they're not nightmares, I wake up in the morning feeling slightly massively disoriented and even slightly traumatized. Things that seemed so real in my dreams but in consciousness I realize the impossibility of it. Most shocking is the players who star in the dreams. They are always people I know but acting completely 180 degree different than how I know them in person. What does this mean?! Perhaps people aren't as they seem... Damn subconscience! Stop playing with my head!!

  • You're right - people are not what they seem - there's lots of fakeness in the world. I'd further posit that the only people you can really act real to are: a) your parents, and b) your inner cloister of friends.

How long did you have to sleep to get a dream??

  • I dream very easily. Even during a half hour nap and believe me, LOTS can happen in half an hour. =P

  • Funny, I often dream when I sleep too little.. something about more REM (restless sleep) when you're exhausted, which is where you dream.

Difference is, in my dream everyone acts as they are.. friendly. Or maybe it's my naive optimism that makes it seem that way.

I'd also add c) Your enemies, but then I'm thinking about game/war situations when they're actually trying to kill you, lol.

I swear dream time goes faster than real time.. whenever I go for 1 hour nap, 3 dream hours pass by, where I miss my test/exam (i hope i don't miss tomorrow's).. I then immediately wake up to check the time. This happens repeated throughout the night =(
