Yay me!! I think I finally have all that anger under control. I still hate that lady for all the crap she did to me but I'm going to try to stop letting it bother me. It's really true...why should I let the likes of her ruin a perfectly good day?

And another yay for Jerry and Maggie who came all the way to come visit me at work today! =) Too bad I couldn't stay longer at lunch because of a driving lesson THAT NEVER HAPPENED!! Although staying another hour wouldn't have been enough for Maggie to finish her food anyway!! =P Poor Jerry...I heard he got sleepy from waiting. So anyway...my driving instructor busted a tire on the way to pick me up so because the car was now running on a spare tire, it would have been unsafe for me to learn driving on the highway in it. Oh wells...disappointed but it won't be long now before you all see me cruising down the 401. Don't be scared...I'm an excellent driver right Maggie?? =P

As if things couldn't get any worse, it's safe to say that I never want to see that stupid bitch's face ever again. She seriously deserves a good swift kick in the ass or even something worse to teach her a lesson or two in respect. Remember how I said in my last post that she told me to come in for work on Saturday and that she'd call me later and tell me what time. Anyway...the call never came so what the hell was I supposed to think? That you just forgot to call (even after I had called on Friday to ask), that I wasn't needed?? Well as I found out today, the reason was the latter but OMG would it kill you to give me a call and tell me that instead of having me try to read your fricking mind?!?! For goodness sakes, I was even responsible enough to go in this morning just to make sure and all you say to me is "We don't need you, that's why we didn't call you. Good bye." Well you know what bitch? You can go to hell.

Today I got my first job interview and all I can say is the boss is a bitch. I don't think you can really call it an interview even considering she only stopped her work to talk to me for like 3 minutes. I mean if you're going to ask someone to come in for an interview at least have the decency to take even just 10 minutes of your precious time, sit down and discuss. Not just drag me around the store saying this this and that is your job, now start on Saturday. Hell, I didn't even say I'd take the job and after this terrible first impression of her, I think I just might not. Being paid an extra 75 cents an hour to be treated like shit is definitely not worth it.

Nothing too new or exciting happening just yet. Still the same old looking for jobs, applying for jobs and getting rejected, well not getting replies is what I mean but that's as bad as being rejected. =( But finally I might have found something definite: a job at a hair salon doing odd jobs courtesy of Phong's sister. Not the perfect job, considering what I'm really looking for is office work with better pay than what I'm being paid at Timothy's right now. Plus bonus perk is I get to have my hair done for free!! SWEEET!! Now I might not have to pay anything to get my hair straightened again! =)

Other updates:

The past weekend, my church had its annual 30 hour famine. For those of you new at this, it's an event for World Vision where you get people to sponsor you to starve yourself for 30 hours. Tough but very worthwhile! We had a garage sale on Saturday to sell all of the junk we have just laying around the house gathering dust and made well over $600! All of it went to World Vision to feed and provide clean water for the people in developing countries, to allow girls to have access to schooling in China and even for programs in Canada to help kids stay off the streets. Great times hanging out with friends coupled with no sleep were a given. =)

Wow, so Blogger decided to get a new look! well...it's different for sure and is definitely going to take some getting used to...

This past day has probably been the worst day yet since coming back from Kingston. Whoever thought I would miss Kingston so?!! Life in Toronto can be just so damn boring sometimes!!! Friends are leaving for vacation, stupid Timothy's gives me so frigging little shifts that for most of the week I'm just sitting around at home doing absolutely nothing, boyfriend is never to be found and daytime TV is just total bull. I hate this, all of this.

damn flu has been bugging me all day!! I have a massive headache right now, can't smell anything because my nostrils are completely clogged up with snots and stomach kind of hurts probably from my eratic eating schedule today, still have a pile of dishes waiting for me to wash from dinner, the leafs are on the brink of being eliminated AND not to mention I have to wake up for a 7am shift at Timothy's tomorrow. Life truly sucks when so many things seem to be pitted against you.

On a good note, I had a nice day hanging out with a couple of my buddies from Queen's today. Someone didn't know how to get home from Fairview!! =P Don't worry, I will not mention names although it's pretty obvious to all. 13 Going on 30 was a very entertaining movie!! Chick flick?? Most definitely!! But a few of them have managed to gain my approval in the past (ie. Serendipity, How to Lose a Guy, A Walk to Remember and most recently 13 Going on 30) Shush Jackie, no comments from you!! =P
