[Valentine's Day]

Someone should really get rid of this pseudo-holiday already. It's nice seeing couples being extra sweet to each other but for singles (and those apart from their sig others) it is a hellish nightmare. For the past 3 years, I've been blessed to be able to spend all 3 V-days with my significant other but after today, it's safe to say I have a newfound respect for all those singles out there. My advice is to just stay indoors and bury yourself in work and the day will pass before you know it. So even though I'm swamped with work for the next few days I'm not really complaining. At least I won't have time to be miserable. Ok, enough about that, back to 301!

[The School Sucks Ass Rant]

BOOOO.... School is the suck!! This is what I have to deal with this week before reading week begins.

Tuesday: Waste Treatment Processing midterm + CHEE 301 report (hate you 301!!!)
Wednesday: APSC 381 night class (worst elective I could have possibly picked)
Thursday: Process Control midterm (worth 34%!!!) + APSC 381 group meeting at night (gonna be a long night...)

Above all, I hate CHEE 301 - Technical Writing for Engineers!! What the hell man...it's the stupidest course ever. The entire course consists of 5 technical reports plus one oral presentation and the only way you can do well on those reports is to write in kindergarden language. I'm not kidding you!! For my first report, I got marks taken off for using a phrase like "with time" because it wasn't simple enough. How on earth do you simplify a two word phrase like that?! The course is also completely unorganized and the website is crap. Just last week, Jackie went into class thinking that she wasn't scheduled to present until Thursday night (because that's what he told us the previous class) and suddenly he puts up an overhead of all the people who have to present that night (Tuesday) and omg she was on the list!! I would have cried if that happened to me because I so would not have been prepared. That course really can give you a heart attack.

The week after reading week is not looking much brighter either. I'm still wondering whether I can even go home.
