[Back in Kingston...again]The few days spent back home in Toronto were perfect. Usually good times pass by so quickly but even though I was only in Toronto for less than a week, it felt enough. I got to do everything I wanted to do and now it's back to K-town to start an oh-so-exciting term of BIOL 102/103. I'm kidding... Bio's not hard at all, just dull, especially the countless hours spent poring over the monstrous textbook. I thought I'd be freaking stressed out but as I've come to discover, that is totally NOT going to be the case. Classes are scheduled to run from 9am-12pm but end up ending usually before 11 and labs don't start until 1:30 in the afternoon. Speaking about labs... there's actually only one a week. The other 3 days of the week (we're off Fridays) are optional Q&A sessions. LOL you know what THAT means!! And that's not even the funniest part yet... The lab instructor told us on the first day that because of some issues with funding, we will NOT be conducting any actual labs. We'll be given a set of data each week for which we'll be required to write up in lab report format. Yikes...so this is the kind of crap course I'm paying over $1000 to take?! At this rate, it seems my summer will be occupied mostly with daily afternoon naps and episode after episode of What Not to Wear and Style by Jury. Those shows are so addictive even though sometimes I really want to kick Stacy and Clinton for being so mean. =P I'm so gobsmacked by the transformations that it's all I can do to stop myself from running out to the mall. YAY for free cable!! =P
